Session 4: Program Design and Evaluation
The Program Design and Evaluation session focuses on building the foundation for future success in executing and evaluating programs. Participants will learn how to design SMART outcomes, the basic components of program evaluation, and how to create and use a logic model. The session will conclude with practical application of the principles within the participant’s professional setting, including an opportunity for participatory learning.

This six-session Capacity Building for Small Organizations course focuses on the key elements that will prepare a new or small organization for grant readiness. It is ideal for agency executive directors, board members, or program staff interested in strengthening their organization’s capacity to seek out grant funding. In the first session, participants will learn how to identify where their organization sits along a readiness continuum. From there, each 90-minute session is tailored to help participants build their knowledge and skills to create pathways for successful grant-seeking.
