Grants 301: Managing Up
Session 5 of the Grants 301 Series
One of the greatest challenges we face as grant professionals is getting the information and resources needed to craft project ideas and develop competitive proposals. This information is often spread across multiple people and departments…from finance to program managers to senior level staff and CEOs. This session will teach what it means to manage up and across, and how to do it with exercises and real-life examples. We will discuss in-depth two specific management tools that can help you effectively manage others during the project development phase and through proposal completion to help everyone succeed.
