Session Description:
Issues of ethics abound when grant professionals examine their organization’s readiness to apply for grants. For example, you may ask yourself if the grant is aligned to the organization’s strategic plan or is the organization chasing money and causing mission creep? Are you applying for funding opportunities that are a really good match for the organization or are you just sending out grants to anyone with funding? Is it unethical to reach out to foundations when you don’t provide programs in their priority service area?
