Grants 201: Managing Grant Meetings
Session 2 of the Grants 201 Series
No one likes to sit through meetings but managing a grant meeting may be the only way to ensure that everyone on a project sees and hears the same thing before a grant is submitted. Some meetings are focused on a single project either before a grant is submitted or after a grant is awarded, while other meetings may be expected to handle both. So how can you manage these meetings so participants feel their time and contributions are needed and valued? This session will help you know how to prepare in advance for the meeting, facilitate strong personalities with busy schedules who may have titles higher than yours on the organization chart, and provide you with sample agendas and tactics to keep your meetings effective and only as long as they need to be.
