AGS provides individuals and organizations with support, advice, and a framework for growth in grant management. Coaching can include a short- or long-term commitment but will always have specific deliverables and defined target timelines. This coaching moves beyond custom training, specific consultation, or technical assistance. Its intention is to more holistically develop the individual or organization so they can set and achieve their goals.
Individual Coaching: AGS guides individuals through goal and plan development after identifying their strengths, motivations, professional aspirations, and current obstacles. This coaching may include defining professional goals in their current situation and their long-term career options.
Organizational Coaching: AGS provides coaching to those seeking to develop, strengthen, or expand effective grant management at their organization. AGS has experience working with teams who are ready and eager to learn, whether the organizations have little to no experience managing grant revenue, are seeking to simply address inefficiencies in their process, or are embarking on significant changes in how they manage grant funding.
AGS has coaches who are experienced grant professionals who have worked in nonprofits, K-12 education, higher education, healthcare, and government. They are familiar with the common skills and obstacles encountered by those working in these fields.
