Whitney Gray, MA, GPC, CGMS is a Grants Specialist with Assel Grant Services. Prior to joining AGS in 2016, Whitney spent a decade as the Manager of Grants and Special Projects at MidAmerica Nazarene University (MNU), a four-year, faith-based, liberal arts university in Olathe, Kansas. During her tenure at MNU, Whitney engaged faculty and staff across the university to build a strong culture of grantsmanship in direct support of the institution’s strategic plan. Between 2014 and 2017, Whitney served as the Co-Project Director on MNU’s $10 million Department of Education Title III Strengthening Institutions Program grant.

 

Since joining AGS, Whitney has continued working with institutions of higher education to support their grant development and grant management initiatives. In the last ten years, she has written and secured over $20 million in grant funding for organizations of all sizes. She is one of less than ten professionals in the nation to be dually credentialed as a grant professional certified (GPC) and as a certified grant management specialist (CGMS). She is also an Approved Trainer by the Grant Professionals Association.
