Tracey Diefenbach, GPC, is an Assistant Director with Assel Grant Services. She has successfully secured more than $14 million in grant funding since joining AGS in 2018. Prior to joining the team, Tracey was the Director of Grants for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri for over eight years, helping to secure $15+ million in government, foundation and corporate funding during this time. She has over 15 years of experience in research and writing grants focused in the Greater St. Louis Metropolitan Region and a strong background in youth services (mentoring, positive youth development, homeless youth services, etc.).
She has served as a reviewer for federal programs including the Department of Health and Human Services Mentoring Children of Prisoners Program and Basic Center Program. She received her Grant Professional Certification in October 2013 from the Grant Professionals Certification Institute. Tracey is an active member of the Grant Professionals Association-St. Louis Chapter, serving as a board member for 10 years (2008-2018) and on the program committee. Tracey has two children and lives with her husband in Freeburg, IL.
