Tracey Diefenbach, GPC, is an Assistant Director with Assel Grant Services. She leads the Reviewing Services division of the company focused on quality assurance. She has successfully secured more than $51 million in grant funding since 2005. Tracey holds a bachelor’s degree and a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. Tracey has over 17 years of experience in researching, writing, and reviewing grant proposals, including more than 10 years of experience with youth development agencies in the greater St. Louis metropolitan region.
She also has vast experience in writing and reviewing federal grants for numerous departments including the Department of Health and Human Services, Department of Justice, National Science Foundation, and Department of Education. She has also served as a reviewer for federal programs in the Department of Health and Human Services. In her current role, Tracey oversees coaching and reviewing services for federal proposal reviews, which includes debriefing sessions with clients to provide individualized feedback on strengths and weaknesses. She received her GPC in 2013 and is an approved GPA trainer.
