Shauna is a Grants Specialist with Assel Grant Services, where she has worked since 2023. Prior to that, she was Director of Development for Emmaus Homes for seven years. Shauna has experience writing and managing grants in the St. Louis Metropolitan Region and the Kansas City Metropolitan Region. She has a strong background in human services and faith-based funding. Shauna has secured over $1.5 million in foundation, corporate, federated, and local government funding since 2015.
Shauna holds a bachelor’s degree from The Baptist College of Florida and a Master of Arts from Liberty University. Shauna’s experience as a well-rounded fundraising professional allowed her to earn her Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) credential in 2022. Shauna obtained the Grant Professional Certified (GPC) credential in 2023.
Shauna is a member of the Grant Professionals Association (GPA). She is a board member of the GPA St. Louis Regional Chapter (2020 to present). She was Vice President in 2021 and is currently serving as President (2022-2023). Shauna is also a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
When she’s not working, Shauna is likely to be in the garden of her Wentzville, MO home with her husband.
