Hayley Waynick, GPC, is a Grants Specialist with Assel Grant Services. She began writing grants through her work with KidsLTC, Inc. Ms. Waynick has over 10 years of experience working with non-profits in the areas of development, event planning, community relations, and volunteer coordination.
She has been writing and managing grants since 2010, earning her Grant Professionals Certification (GPC) in November 2015 from the Grant Professionals Certification Institute. Ms. Waynick brings to Assel Grant Services a strong background in non-profit grant writing. She has extensive knowledge of drafting grant reports to numerous local and national foundations, and a knowledge of outcomes development, program evaluation techniques, and agency and program budgeting. She has a strong background in writing for mental health and social services programs (foster care, homeless outreach, shelters, juvenile detention, and domestic violence). Ms. Waynick received her BS in Journalism with an emphasis in Strategic Communications from the University of Kansas in 2003. She has been a member of the Grant Professionals Association since 2010, serving both as a board member and on the communications committee.
