Ana Teslik, Ph.D., MPA, GPC, is a Grants Specialist with Assel Grants Services. She earned her Ph.D. in social science from the University of Miami, where her multidisciplinary training focused on research methodology, comparative politics, and international affairs. She has over 10 years of experience in fundraising including crafting complex proposals for nonprofits, research projects, and infrastructure projects. With a flexible writing style, Dr. Teslik is skilled in writing copy, feature articles, and press releases, and has published research in peer-reviewed journals. She has secured over $7.5 million in funding from federal, state, county, and private foundation sources over the course of her career.

 

Prior to joining AGS, Dr. Teslik managed foundation relations for the Freedom Forum in Washington, D.C. and the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts in Miami, FL. She has written successful proposals with grants awarded from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Department of Agriculture, the state of Florida, Miami-Dade County, and the Knight Foundation, among others. Beyond writing, she has provided support to programmatic staff in developing baseline and improvement metrics. She is a member of the Grant Professionals Association and the Association of Proposal Management Professionals.
