Ana Teslik, Ph.D., MPA, is a Grants Associate with Assel Grants Services. She has over 10 years of experience in writing grants for nonprofits, research projects, and higher education, and has secured over $5 million in funding from federal, state, county, and private foundation sources. With proficiency in prospect research, Teslik has developed strategies to support nonprofits expand their pipeline of support aligning programmatic priorities with various funders. Teslik earned a Ph.D. in politics from the University of Miami, where she also completed an MPA. She has published research in peer-reviewed journals. With a flexible writing style, Teslik is skilled in writing copy, feature articles, and press releases.

 

Teslik has written successful proposals with grants awarded from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Department of Agriculture, the state of Florida, Miami-Dade County, and the Knight Foundation, among others. Beyond writing, she has provided support to programmatic staff in developing baseline and improvement metrics.

 

Prior to joining AGS, Teslik served as a fundraiser with several arts and culture organizations in Washington D.C., and Miami, Florida. She is a member of the Grant Professionals Association and the Association of Proposal Management Professionals.
