Session Description:

Almost all grant funders ask what effect a program will have on the participants and how the organization knows of a program’s success. This session will teach the development professionals who write grants methods for defining a program’s success through goals, objectives, and measurable outcomes.

What you will learn:

• The definition of a goal, objective, and outcome
• The purpose of evaluation from a funder’s perspective
• How to use a logic model to ensure your program is measuring what it is intending to achieve

This training aligns with the Grant Professional Certification Institute’s Competencies and Skills and is approved for 1.0 Continuing Education Unit (CEU).
